Respite Care

When family caregivers need a break.

Respite Care
Overview

What respite care looks like.

Respite care gives family caregivers the break they need — an afternoon, a weekend or a full week — knowing their loved one is in good hands. A caregiver steps into the routine you have built, so nothing is missed while you rest, travel or simply catch up on your own life.

What’s included

  • Flexible bookings from a few hours to a full week
  • Overnight and weekend availability
  • A caregiver briefed on your loved one's routine
  • Companion and personal care as needed
  • Meals, medication reminders and household support
  • A written handover when you return

Who it’s for

  • Family caregivers who need time to rest, work or travel
  • Families arranging cover for a holiday or an emergency
  • Anyone trialling in-home care before committing to a schedule
How it starts

Three steps to the first visit.

  1. Step 01

    We listen

A free 30-minute consultation with a senior care coordinator. We learn the routine, the history and what matters most to your family.

  2. Step 02

    We match

We propose a caregiver chosen for personality, language and skills — and introduce them before care begins.

  3. Step 03

    We stay close

Daily visit logs, regular check-ins and one coordinator who knows your family. The plan adjusts as needs change.

Questions

Families often ask.

How much notice do you need?

Planned respite is best booked a week ahead so we can match the right caregiver. For emergencies, call us — we will do everything we can to help the same day.

Can respite become regular care?

Yes. Many families start with respite and keep the same caregiver on for weekly visits once they see how well it works.

Is overnight respite available?

It is. Overnight and weekend respite are available, including for loved ones who need memory care or hands-on personal care.
