Personal Care
Overview

What personal care looks like.

Personal care is hands-on help with the activities of daily living, delivered with patience and respect. Our caregivers are trained to assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and moving safely around the home while keeping your loved one's dignity and independence front and centre.

What’s included

  • Bathing, showering and grooming
  • Dressing and personal hygiene
  • Toileting and continence care
  • Safe transfers, walking support and fall prevention
  • Positioning and skin care
  • Feeding assistance
  • Everything in Companion Care

Who it’s for

  • Loved ones who need help bathing, dressing or getting around safely
  • Families managing a recovery after surgery or a hospital stay
  • Anyone whose mobility has changed and who wants to stay at home
How it starts

Three steps to the first visit.

  1. Step 01

    We listen

A free 30-minute consultation with a senior care coordinator. We learn the routine, the history and what matters most to your family.

  2. Step 02

    We match

We propose a caregiver chosen for personality, language and skills — and introduce them before care begins.

  3. Step 03

    We stay close

Daily visit logs, regular check-ins and one coordinator who knows your family. The plan adjusts as needs change.

Questions

Families often ask.

Are caregivers trained for hands-on care?

Yes. Personal care caregivers hold current CPR and first-aid certification, are background-checked, and complete our training in safe transfers and personal hygiene care.

Can personal care be combined with companion visits?

Almost always. Most families combine the two so that one caregiver covers both hands-on help and daily living support in a single visit.

What about privacy?

Care is delivered one-to-one in your loved one's home, at their pace. We match caregivers for personality and, when it matters, gender preference.
