Home care in New Jersey: what families are asking for
Consistency, transparency and memory-care training top the list. Here is what we hear on the phone, and how we are responding.

Three requests come up in almost every first call.
1. The same caregiver
Families want one familiar face, not a rota. We match one primary caregiver and introduce a backup early, so the backup is familiar too.
2. Knowing what happened today
A daily visit log, and a coordinator who answers the phone, turns out to matter more than any brochure promise.
3. Real dementia training
Every caregiver completes dementia and Alzheimer's training before their first memory-care visit, and refreshes it.
